Best Cabo Golf Courses & Where to Find Them
Los Cabos draws travelers from around the world with its gorgeous beaches, outdoor activities, and lively nightlife. However, Cabo is known for award-winning golf courses, boasting breathtaking views and world-class experiences. Whether you’re looking for an immersive golf experience or simply want to play a round and take in a great view, Los Cabos has both public and private offerings. With courses perched on the Pacific coastline serving regional food and drinks at smartly designed comfort stations throughout, golfers won’t leave disappointed.
Here are three of the best courses Cabo has to offer.
Quivira Golf Club
Voted one of the world’s 100 greatest golf courses by Golf Digest, Quivira Golf Club deserves recognition. Although this course is only open to residents or guests of the Pueblo Bonito Resorts, it is well worth the cost for golf enthusiasts everywhere.
A signature Jack Nicklaus course, this course offers a one-of-a-kind experience for those playing a round. Rolling greens flow organically in and out of sand dunes and natural vegetation, so the course blends beautifully with its desert surroundings. Throughout the course, golfers climb from the beach to granite cliffs that offer jaw-dropping panoramic views of the Pacific that might distract even the most skilled player.
Quivira’s facilities are just as impressive. A multi-story clubhouse sits between the first tee and the eighteenth green, perfectly complementing the Baja desert landscape with its thatched roof and earth tones. You can enjoy a drink at the 19th Hole Bar or a post-round meal at the Quivira Steakhouse while continuing to enjoy the backdrop of this club.
Green fees at this impressive resort can be steep, starting at $306 USD in the low season and costing up to $465 USD during peak season. If you want to take in the incredible vistas, non-playing riders will have to visit during the low season from June to September, as they are not accommodated during the high season.
Puerto Los Cabos Golf Club
World-class golf experiences in Los Cabos are not solely available at members-only clubs. You can also enjoy the highly regarded links at Puerto Los Cabos. This 27-hole golf experience sits in a 2,000-acre resort community located only 10 minutes from downtown San Jose Del Cabo.
Here, guests can enjoy the Mission Course designed by Greg Norman or the newly formed Ocean and Vista courses, which Jack Nicklaus recently rerouted in November 2022 from the former 18-hole signature course.
Depending on your tee time, you’ll be offered a combination of 18 holes to play across the resort’s three courses, making it a unique experience for first-time visitors or repeat players.
Fees range from $270 USD to $350 USD from November through May. However, food and drinks from staff chefs and bartenders are included in the green fee and can be enjoyed at the comfort stations located on each course. Non-playing riders can also join for the lower cost of $45 USD, pending availability.
Diamante Cabo San Lucas
The name Tiger Woods is synonymous with golf throughout the world. Guests can now enjoy his first golf course design, El Cardonal, at Diamante Cabo San Lucas. Woods also has his stamp on the Oasis Short Course, which is designed for beginners and experts alike. In addition to Woods’ influence, golfers can enjoy a course design from fellow professional golfer, Davis Love III, at the highly ranked Diamante Dunes Course. If you need to brush up on your skills, take advantage of the Dunes Putting Course or Golf Academy.
Currently, the Dunes course is only open to guests and residents of Diamante, with nightly rates starting at $450 USD in the low season. Additional green fees apply for a standard rate of $320 USD.

If you’re traveling to one of these resorts, ample transportation options are available to travelers flying into Los Cabos International Airport (SJD).
